Start your Independence Day off with our 5k, 10k, or 1k Fun Run! Join us for our Freedom Run on July 4th race at Halcyon! This is a family-friendly event and all of our events are walker-friendly! Virtual options are also available.
Race Benefactor: One hundred percent of the donations made through this website will go directly to Ainsley’s Angels of America in North Georgia. Ansley's Angels pair able-bodied runners and walkers to push Special Needs kids and adults in races from 5Ks to Marathons. Your donation helps us get the equipment and supplies we need so families can participate at no cost.

Thursday, July 2nd from 12 PM to 5 PM
Friday, July 3rd from 12 PM to 5 PM
Race morning packet pick up will be at the race location under the green Big Peach Running Co. tent. Starting at 7:00 AM
Virtual Packets will be mailed after July 6th if not picked up during packet pick up.
Any race packets for in-person runners that are not picked up during packet pickup or on race day will be donated.
*Please note that we will not be exchanging t-shirt sizes at packet pickup. If we have extras after the race, you may go to the packet pickup tent following the race to see if there is another size available.

The starting line is at the surface parking lot located behind Cherry Street Brewpub.
Restrooms are located inside The Market Hall adjacent to the coffee shop.
Water Stations:
10k Course: the water station will be at the turnaround.
5k Course: a water station will be located along the course.
Awards:
Overall male/female
Overall masters male/female
1st, 2nd, 3rd place age group awards in 5-year increments.
Virtual runners will not be eligible for overall or age group awards.

The 10K is the distance where running stops feeling like a starting point and starts feeling like a sport. Long enough to require a real training block. Short enough that race day is fully manageable for a first-timer who's put in the work.
Race day energy at a 10K is community at its best — strangers cheering you by name, people moving toward the same goal, an atmosphere that solo training can't replicate. It's fast enough that you'll spend the whole race pushing rather than managing your effort.
