From the Organizer
Start off your July 4th of July Saturday with a bang! Join Fleet Feet Lawrence at Rock Chalk Sports Pavilion for our Freedom 5K! This is a free 5K - we will be accepting donations for Just Food on race morning via cash or Venmo.
The race will begin at 7:30AM. This will be a 5K (3.12 miles) and we welcome all paces/all ages! You can walk, run, or both! This event will not have official timing. We will have bib pickup at Fleet Feet Lawrence July 3rd while our store is open (10am-7pm) or pick up your bib on event morning starting at 7AM. There are no tshirts or medals for race, but there will be a lot of fun!
We are planning on having the Freedom 5K at Rock Chalk Pavilion. Depending on what happens with the World Cup we may need move the event to the Arboretum trails - we will be keeping all participants updated with this information as we know.
