Celebrate America's 250th Independence Day with a morning run at one of Upstate South Carolina's most beautiful Lake Hartwell communities.
Get ready to kick off the country's 250th Fourth of July with a bang! Whether you're a seasoned runner or a leisurely stroller, the Firecracker 5K takes you along a picturesque, tree-lined route featuring a sweeping view of Lake Hartwell and the Chickasaw Point Golf Course.
This is an out-and-back, tree-lined course that turns around with an expansive lake view. Water will be available on the course. Your friends and family are welcome to cheer you on — or join you in the run/walk! Powered by the RaceJoy app, loved ones can track you live and send audio cheers; participants receive continuous progress updates at every mile.
All finishers receive an official commemorative 250th anniversary race medaland a Chickasaw Point 250th celebration shirt. Top overall and age group finishers — plus the oldest and youngest runners — receive special awards.
