ChiRunners Founders 5K
Run Together. Grow Together.
Join us for the inaugural CHI Runners Founders 5K on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Busse Woods Grove 31 in Cook County, Illinois! Hosted by CHI Running Club, this first-ever event brings together members, families, friends, and the local community for a fun and meaningful morning in the forest preserve.
Whether you choose to run, walk, or jog, all levels are welcome. The course features a scenic, paved, and mostly flat route through beautiful Busse Woods—perfect for beginners, families, and experienced runners alike.
This is a community 5K focused on connection, movement, and enjoyment. All finishers will receive a medal.
After the run, stick around for a relaxed Club Picnic and community gathering. Come be part of the very first CHI Running Club race and help us build a new tradition together.
