From the Organizer
Youth Track League is a 6-week summer running program presented by RunAbout Sports. Join us this summer to learn about the sport of track and field! All ability levels are encouraged to join - our program is focused on participation and enjoyment.
The program consists of one practice and one track meet per week. On practice days, coaches will lead a warm up, running form drills, track & field lessons, workouts, and active games. On track meet days, we will compete in sprints, jumps, throws, relays, and distances up to one mile.
Practice days are Mondays OR Tuesdays from 6 - 7 PM at the Blacksburg High School track. You will have the opportunity to select the practice day that best fits your schedule. Meets are Wednesdays from 6 - 7:30 PM at the Blacksburg High School track.
$100 - Includes participation for the entire summer, team shirt, coaching, facility use, and meet officiating
Family discount - when signing up 2 or more kids in the same household, receive $10 off each registration
