From the Organizer
The JMU Physician Assistant Student Society (PASS) is bringing back a meaningful 5K on campus at James Madison University with its 4th Annual Charity 5K to benefit Open Doors and the Blue Ridge Free Clinic. Open Doors provides year-round overnight shelter for adults experiencing homelessness as well as daytime drop-in services for the public at the Navigation Center. Blue Ridge Free Clinic provides critical healthcare services to hundreds of members of the Harrisonburg community who would otherwise have nowhere else to turn for assistance. Harrisonburg community members and JMU students, faculty + staff are all invited to a unifying event open to all skill levels of walkers and runners.
The 5K features a scenic route through East Campus. Parking is available for those without a JMU parking permit.
