RCSF Treasured Tradition Continues!
Let's keep the tradition going strong!
Let's come together again to walk, run or fly as ONE community for ONE cause: the BEST educational experience for the students of Rochester Community Schools!
About this event:
The Rochester Community Schools (RCS) Foundation Hometown Hustle, is a five-kilometer, timed or untimed fun run/walk, presented by Chief Financial Credit Union. It has become an annual treasured tradition and principal fundraiser that brings together more than 1,100 participants and onlookers to celebrate fitness, family time and donating to a great cause - enhancing the educational experience of all RCS students!
The One-Mile COLOR Fun Run is BACK!
A one-mile untimed route has been approved for runners, walkers or wannabe flyers to be plastered with different colors from head to toe!
Participants will receive a CAPE!
Once the race is over, the fun continues in the parking lot of Chief Financial Credit Union, with music, some dancing, photo ops, sponsors, and an opportunity to participate with the 5K runner/walkers around the beautiful Paint Creek Trail and City of Rochester.
When: Saturday, September 20, 2025
Opening Ceremony: 8 a.m.
National Anthem and Pledge; opening notes and thanks; raffle winners.
1-mile superhero color fun run: Horn goes off at 8:10 a.m. SHARP
5K run or walk: Horn goes off at 8:30 a.m.
Closing remarks and Awards at 10:00 a.m.
Cost:
$ 30 - Adult
$ 20 - RCS K-12 Student
*REGISTER 4 or more adults and receive $5 off for each adult registration!
*Every registrant will receive a swag bag that includes a t-shirt, a bib and great sponsor goodies! *All color fun run registrants will receive a cape!
REMINDER: Deadline for a guaranteed t-shirt is August 31 – registration after August 31, you will receive a different size t-shirt or a Hometown Hustle t-shirt from a previous year.
Support your school! The elementary, middle and high school with the most participants WINS $1,000 to use at their building.
