Come join us for this patriotic run to salute those who have served this great Nation! There is something for everyone to enjoy with our have kid's zone: bounce house, balloon artist, an inflatable obstacle course, inflatable basketball hoops, and Humvee courtesy of the Army National Guard.
Races will begin on McCachern Blvd beside the Cabarrus County Parking Lot. The 5k will run toward Corban Ave, take a right onto Corban Ave, left onto Union, Turnaround at Tribune, run back to Corban into Greenway and back up to the finish using Downtown Connector. The 10k will run toward Corban Ave, take a left and down into the greenway and up to Lawndale, Patton Ave, connect to McAllister Ave, SunnySide, left on Winfield, left on Ingleside, right on Caldwell, left on Hillcrest, and into downtown Concord using Union, back down Corban Ave, and use the downtown connector for the finish. Awards given to overall top 3 male and female, top veteran in male and female, and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69,70-74, 75 and over.

SPEED FOR NEED - Riders with a special need in a customized racing wheelchairs to help them complete the Veterans Salute 5k or 10k. The mission is to raise awareness and foster inclusion. Speed for Need provides the wheelchair and the runner. If you would like to reserve a racing wheelchair, please contact Zack Roehrs at roehrsz@concordnc.gov.

Race Day Registration: Starts at 7:30am on Race Day (CARD ONLY). Increase price of $10 for the 5k and 10k. While supplies last for all race day registrations.
Veterans: $15 for 5k; $25 for 10k
Fun Run (1 mile) begins at 8:30am, 5k and 10k at 9:00am. Start/Finish line on McCachern Blvd and following the Downtown
Connector Greenway with a ½ mile turnaround.
