2026 4,000 Steps for Diabetes Run is a running race on October 10, 2026 in Paragould, AR.
From the Organizer
It's that time of the year again! The annual 4000 Steps for Diabetes Run is back and better than ever! It's time to prove that we are "Stronger than Diabetes" by supporting a great cause while showing off our favorite superhero gear! The race will be located outside GCT Middle School in Paragould, the track known as "The Eagle Mile" which is in fact 2.1 miles. Let's all come together as a community to help support the American Diabetes Association, research for Type 1 Diabetes, and other community diabetes efforts while having fun!
Here's how it works...
Step 1. Register to participate as a runner or walker. Invite your friends to join! You can make your own team and go crazy with costumes and accessories! There will be multiple awards for costumes, creativity, and team spirit. Show us who your favorite superheroes (or even villains) are in style!
Step 2. Pick up your t-shirt and race packet in the Baptist Paragould Atrium on 10/8 from 11am-3pm. If unable to pick up your shirt/packet at this time, please call 239-7016 to make arrangements. You may also pick up the day of the race prior to the event.
Step 3. Show up on October 10th at 2:00pm (race starts at 4:00pm) to walk/run the official Eagle Mile course. We will have pre-race activities for the whole family to enjoy. Make sure and post a picture of you or your team to social media tagging #4000stepsfordiabetes.
Step 4: Enjoy the thrill of helping a very deserving cause while having a ton of fun doing so!
