Lace up for a great cause! Experience the natural beauty and historic grounds of Hagley Museum at the 9th Annual 5K/1K Run/Walk.
Run or walk along the picturesque Brandywine River and through 235 acres of stunning landscape. It’s a perfect event for families and fitness enthusiasts, as well as history and nature lovers!
Why Participate? Every step supports the Hagley Field Trip Fund. Your registration provides underserved students in our community with a vital, educational visit to the museum. We've already sent over 2,600 students—let's keep the momentum going!

This year's event will feature the 5K starting at 8:30am followed by the 1K Fun Run at 9:00am. There is not an age requirement for either event.

Bib pick-up and Check-in
Day of event starting at 7:30am in front of the Hagley Library
Refer a Friend (or five)
After registering, you will receive a unique URL to share with family and friends to encourage them to register. Post it on social media. After five friends register using your unique URL, you will receive a $10 discount off your 5K fee OR a $5 discount off your 1K fee.

An awards ceremony will take place around 9:30 near the finish line.
Hagley Museum opens at 10am, so stay and explore the historic powder yards, first du Pont family home, and gardens. Your registration fee gives you free admission to Hagley for the two weeks following the 5K/1K (through May 9, 2027).
