From the Organizer
By popular demand, one of our favorite races is finally returning! After a two-year hiatus due to hurricane damage and city restrictions, we’re excited to bring this event back to the community! 🇺🇸🏆🏃🏻➡️
Join us as we honor America’s veterans with a race dedicated to supporting them. Whether you’re running competitively or just out for fun, all distances will offer certified timing.
The course takes place along the paved trail on the southern side of the Courtney Campbell Causeway, offering stunning views of Tampa Bay. While Florida is known for being flat, this route features a relatively high peak (by local standards), giving runners in the longer distances a rewarding climb and a beautiful overlook.
Race distances include:
All courses follow an out-and-back format along the Causeway trail. Each distance showcases beautiful scenery, but only the 15.5-mile race covers the full length of the Causeway.
We’ll have well-stocked aid stations throughout the course with water and electrolyte drinks, plus additional fuel options for half marathon and 15.5-mile participants. Sanitary conditions will be maintained at all stations, and we’re happy to answer any specific questions.
After the race, join us for a celebration starting at 10:30 AM at Whiskey Joe's. Stick around, relax, and enjoy time with fellow runners! 🥇
