I am excited to share the very first virtual walk for World Hypoparathyroidism Awareness Day!
The goal is simple: bring our community together, wherever we are in the world. Whether you walk around your neighborhood, on a treadmill, around your house, or even just to the mailbox and back, this is about participating in whatever way works for you. Every step counts!
I am working on a few simple ways for people to participate remotely, including an app and a place to share a photo from your walk. This will be very informal, flexible, and accessible because we know everyone's health, symptoms, and abilities are different.
No matter how far you walk, we hope you will join us as we take steps together for awareness, support, and community.
