Join NS Promos for our 17th Annual Turkey Trot! The Surfside Beach Turkey Trot 5K features a view of the ocean as you begin your race and a run along Ocean Blvd. The race continues through the beautiful neighborhood and streets of Surfside Beach.  Get the entire family involved with our free Gobbler Kids' Dash! No strollers or animals allowed on the race course.

Race Info:

• No water stop on course
• 5K race begins at 8:00am
• Gobbler Kids' (50 yards) Dash begins at 9:00am
• Gun timing for overall awards
• Chip timing for age group awards
• Runners and walkers are all WELCOME!
• Animals are not permitted on the race course and will result in disqualification. Service animals as recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted on course. Those participating with a service animal must inform staff at bib pickup and are asked to begin at the back of the race for safety purposes.
• Baby joggers, baby strollers, skate boards, roller blades, unauthorized bicycles or any other wheeled device are not permitted on the race course and will result in disqualification. Wheelchairs, mobility aids, etc. as recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted on course. Those participating with a recognized device must inform staff at bib pickup and are asked to begin at the back of the race for safety purposes.
• Post race water and snacks available for participants

• 5K Participant Shirt (while supplies last)
• Gobbler Dash-add on shirt option
• 5K and Gobbler Dash-Participant Medal
• 5K and Gobbler Dash-Race Bib

Registration:

• Registration is only available online
• Registration closes Thursday, November 26 at 6:00am
• Gobbler Kids' Dash is free but participants must register online

Packet Pickup Information:

• *only for Surfside Trot participants: Tuesday, November 24 from 4:00-6:00pm at Surfside Beach Oceanfront Hotel (15 South Ocean Blvd, Surfside Beach)
• Wednesday, November 25 from 4:00-7:00pm at TBA
• Thursday, November 26 from 6:45-7:45am near the start/finish line

• **PLEASE NOTE--If you do not attend packet pickup prior to race morning, you will NOT receive your t-shirt until after you complete the 5K race/Gobbler Dash. You will need to come back to the info tent to pick up your shirt. Only race bibs will be distributed prior to the race on race morning. 

Parking:

• Free parking adjacent to Ocean Blvd./Surfside Pier
• Do not park in driveways

Restrooms:

• Portos near the start/finish line

Awards 5K:

• Overall Male and Female 1,2,3 place
• Overall Masters Male and Female 1 place
• Age Groups Male and Female 1,2,3 place 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and up
• No awards for Gobbler Kids' Dash
