Come on out and Run the RVR Turkey Trot on November 28th for a fun-filled 5K and kids fun run! The race kicks off at 8 a.m. and will benefit the Main Street Mission in Russellville. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to start your day, this event is perfect for the whole family.
Main Street Mission provides a compassionate and supportive environment for individuals and families facing a crisis. They offer hot meals, groceries, clothing, and furniture to those in need, and they also provide assistance with employment and housing.
You can make an even bigger impact by bringing non-perishable food items to the event. For every item you donate, you'll receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win some great prizes. All donations will go directly to the Main Street Mission to help stock their pantry and support the community.
MSM serve meals in their kitchen every day Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 for breakfast and 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.for lunch. The following items are always welcome:
– Coffee – Plastic wrap
– Creamer – Pine Sol
– Tea – Toilet paper
– Sugar – Paper towels
– Salt & Pepper – Dishwashing soap
– Napkins – Liquid hand soap
– Condiments – Laundry detergent
– Rice – Bleach
– Dried Beans – Windex
– Pasta – 50-gallon trash bags
– Cooking oil – Aluminum foil
– Napkins
Gather your friends, family, and running shoes, and get ready to talk turkey for a great cause!
The top 3 male and female runners and walkers will get awards . We will also do age awards for 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-30, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ for our runners and walkers divisions. So stick around for those after the kids fun run!
Check-in for pre Register will start at 6:30 to 7:45a Saturday 11/28.
We will have some same day registration available for $40 from 6:30a to 7:30a but you are not guaranteed a shirt and medal so sign up early!!!
