About the Program
The Needham Track Club Fall Track Program is open to children age 4-14. The program meets on Sundays from September 6 – November 8 2026 at DeFazio Track in Needham. There are two sessions to choose from: 9:15 - 10:20 am and 10:45 - 11:50 am. Children age 6.5-14 can choose a sprinting group or a distance group.
The weekly sessions include warm up, stretching, running drills, sprinting and distance training, hurdles, field event technique building and warm down. Field event training will be available on events such as high jump, long jump, shot put, standing triple jump, and turbo jav. Children are placed in teams where they remain for the entire session.
The season tuition includes an NYTC Spring Program T-shirt, and all sessions.
Optionally, children can compete in several cross country meets.
