The Sunrise Stampede 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk is a community celebration that brings together neighbors, schools, students, families, educators, local businesses, and supporters from across St. Vrain Valley.
Whether you run, walk, cheer from the sidelines, or volunteer, your participation helps strengthen our community and support local students and teachers. Join us in continuing this fun, back-to-school tradition!
Event Schedule:
7:00 am – Check-In & Race Day Registration Opens
7:00–7:50 am – Sponsor Alley & Pre-Race Activities
8:00 am – 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk Begins
8:30 am – 5K Race Begins
9:15 am – Awards Ceremony & School Spirit Recognition

This family-friendly event has raised vital funds to support the St. Vrain Valley Schools Education Foundation Educator Grants, including special education and mental health grants. These grants empower educators to bring innovative ideas into classrooms, provide meaningful resources for students, and support programs that help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Course Description:
5K and 1-mile fun run course will start and end at Fall River Elementary School, 1400 Deerwood Drive, Longmont, CO.
5K AWARDS: Awards will be presented to the top-3 overall male and female finishers. Overall awards will be determined by the first three male and female finishers to cross the line.
In addition, the first place male and female finisher in the following categories will receive an award: 6 and under, 7-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. All age group finishers will be determined by net-time - your time will start when you cross the start mat, and will finish when you cross under the finish arch.
5K Wheelchair Division Awards (Male and Female): 18 & Under, 19 & Over
The 1- Mile Fun Run/Walk is an untimed event.

Register today and help us make the 41st Sunrise Stampede the biggest and best yet! Register by Friday, August 7th to receive a t-shirt. Shirts will not be included for entries taken after August 7th.
