NEW COURSE ALERT! In 2025 we ran a new course and things went great. The course will be the same this year. Join Grayson County Parks and Recreation and Blue Devil Cross Country boosters for our 11th annual 5k on July 4, 2025. The 5k course is rated at medium/hard with some hills. The downhill mile is super fast! This race is a separate competitive race for all ages. The mile will be run before the 5k. The course is on a slight downhill, sure to produce some fast times. Registration for the 5k or down hill mile is $25 or register for both races for $30! If you enter the Double you will only receive one t-shirt if you register in the window to receive a shirt.

5k Race Course: The race will begin in the GCHS parking lot…take a right onto Main st…..left on nautilus way.Right onto Powerhouse RD- stay straight and enter trail the leads to Grayson Rec. Pool. Go through the pool parking lot and turn right onto County Park Lane. Take the first right into the lower field parking area. Follow cones to Industrial Park Lane. Turn right onto the sidewalk (Main Street) and return to school.
Down Hill Mile: Starting line is on the sidewalk in front of Carter National Bank (Main Street) stay straight on the sidewalk to Grayson Industrial park to finish! 100 percent downhill! You will be shuttled back to GCHS afterwards.
