🍔Hey Houston...the run/walk event you’ve dreamed about has finally arrived!
Get ready for a first-of-its-kind celebration where flavor meets fitness and running never tasted so good! We’re celebrating 75 years of Whataburger in a big way, and you’re invited to join the fun on Saturday, November 8th and Sunday, November 9th for two mornings packed with orange-and-white striped fun, iconic officially licensed race swag, and unforgettable Whataburger vibes—just like you like it.
Whether you're running, walking (or just in it for the swag), this experience is serving up a deliciously fun time for the whole family. Start your morning strong, move your way through a flat and fast, out-and-back course on Park Row Drive at the Addicks Park and Ride, right off of I-10 in the Energy Corridor District, just a short drive from the Houston Inner Loop and West Houston suburbs, and finish with a delicious side  of celebration.
This experience is limited to 2,000 participants each event day, and with Whataburger fans from all over ready to join the fun, spots are sure to disappear fast. Can’t make it to Houston? The 10K is the distance where running stops feeling like a starting point and starts feeling like a sport. Long enough to require a real training block. Short enough that race day is fully manageable for a first-timer who's put in the work.

Race day energy at a 10K is community at its best — strangers cheering you by name, people moving toward the same goal, an atmosphere that solo training can't replicate. It's fast enough that you'll spend the whole race pushing rather than managing your effort.

This is also the distance that builds the base for everything else. Most athletes who go on to run half marathons, do triathlons, or compete in HYROX started here. What you need: running shoes fitted to your stride, a training plan, and the race on your calendar. The registration is what makes the deadline real.
