From the Organizer
The United Community Reedy River Run 10K is one of the oldest road races in the south and will be celebrating its 49th running on April 17, 2027. With the start on Greenville's famous Main Street, you will take a tour of downtown and beautiful Cleveland, Cancer Survivors and Falls Parks. The 10K course crosses the namesake Reedy River six times and both the 10K and 5K races will have a downhill finish on Falls Drive near the United Community headquarters.
The 10K race also attracts top road racers and was previously the 2017, 2021 and 2026 Road Runners Club of America South Carolina State 10K Championship and the 2019 RRCA Southern Region 10K Championship.
There is also a 5K run which starts on S. Main St and uses the same finish line as the 10K on Falls Street.
Our 10K will be limited to 1,500 participants and the 5K to 1000 participants. The 10K will once again have staggered "wave" starts to manage the flow and congestion after the start. The starting waves will be determined by the participant's Estimated Finishing Time.
START Times for 10K:
WAVE A @ 7:15 am
WAVE B @ 7:16 am
WAVE C @ 7:17 am
WAVE D @ 7:18 am
WAVE E @ 7:19 am
So, please enter your EFT during the registration process. The 10K will once again have unique commemorative Finishers medals featuring Greenville's iconic landmarks and Age Group awards.
The 5K is our less competitive run, but may also have starting waves to help spread out the field and will not have Finisher medals or Age Group awards.
START Time for 5K - 8:00 am
Please be advised, due to the very early start times there will NOT be race day packet pickup. You may have someone pick up your race packet for you (please provide your approval to the person picking up for you by text to their phone to be presented).
