From the Organizer
Girls on the Run (GOTR) is a youth development after school program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. The program is dedicated to inspiring girls to be joyful, healthy and confident while creatively integrating running or movement. Each season concludes with a celebratory 5K run!
Every Girls on the Run 5K highlights the excitement of completing a season and the start of what’s next. Join us on 5K day as girls in Washington County reflect on how far they’ve come and step into their next chapter with confidence.
The 2026 Celebrate Your Start GOTR 5K recognizes girls’ hard-earned progress and limitless possibilities. Their journeys remind us: every achievement begins with one brave decision to start.
