EVENT OVERVIEW
This festive, Easter-themed beach run was established in 1967 by the City of Daytona Beach. The race was first held on Easter Sunday to provide an activity for visiting college students and is now the oldest consecutive footrace in the State of Florida.
Participants will enjoy a scenic run on the World’s Most Famous Beach while traveling out and back for the 4-mile race, 2-mile fun run or health walk. Kids are also welcome to participate in the 1/4-mile race, 100 and 50-yard dash.

6:15 a.m. - Packet Pickup Opens
6:45 a.m. - Line Dance Warm-up
7:30 a.m. - 4 mile & 2 mile Start together at the same time
8:30 a.m. - Kids Race
The Easter Beach Run is professionally chip-timed. Both 4 mile and 2 mile

Fees:
2-mile or 4-mile Race Registration - $35 - Seniors 60 & Over $30
2-mile or 4-mile Race Registration - $40 After April 9th - Seniors 60 & Over $35
2-mile or 4-mile races Pre-registration - Youth 9 & Under - $20
CASH NOT ACCEPTED ON RACE DAY
Kids races (50yd/100yd/1/4 mile) -$20 Entry
*Note: Youth wanting to participate in a kid’s race and the 2-mile or 4-mile race, will need to register for both separately at $20 each to participate ($40 total).

AWARDS
2027 custom “finisher” medals for the first 800 registered runners and walkers completing the race.
4 mile Age Groups: Top Overall Male & Top Overall Female - 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female in each age group 11 & Under, 12-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59,60-64,65-69.70-74,75-79,80-84, 85+

Both Races are chip timed
Kids Races
Each “Kids Race” participant receives a participant medal!
Award ceremonies will be held following each race at race site. Results will be available online after the completion of each event..
Awards not picked up race day may be picked up weekdays at the CODB Parks & Recreation Administrative office for 30 days after the race. Awards will be mailed if requested with a $10 check to CODB Attention Katie Preswood Parks & Recreation - P.O. Box 2451 Daytona Beach, FL 32115.
IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION
Parking is available in the Ocean Walk parking lot for a fee. The cost to park in the garage is $5 per hour or $15 for the day.
