Our Spring 2026 Kids Race is brought to you by Triangle Run Smart Training, presented by Pace Yourself Run Company and The Running PTs.
Come join us for our Kids Track Race on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 2-4pm at the Mills Park Middle School track & field in Cary! We will have lots of mini races of varying distances on the track during the event, plus fun running games on the inner field for those waiting their turn to race. Races to include: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and 1-mile races (broken into age groups). Medals for all participants and ribbons for the top 3 winners of each individual race heat. Open to ages 6-15.
Water, Gatorade, and popsicles will be provided to the kids during/after the event.
Cost of the race is $30. No refund and no credit if you drop from the race after registering.
Cost includes: participation in as many mini race events as you'd like to register your child for, a race bib to wear during the event, participation in running games, hydration and popsicles, and medals.
Race is capped at 60 participants.
TRS Coaches will coordinate/coach this event. After signing your child in, we ask that parents go to the stands during the event.

Free Race Photos from the event will be provided to all, courtesy of one of our kids' run parents, Sergiy Matsak. A photo album link will be emailed out to registrants a week after the race. Thank you, Sergiy!
