The race will benefit the Teche Center for the Arts
A 5K walk/run through downtown historic Breaux Bridge, LA. All participants will receive a free entry and a free Bloody Mary after the race at the world famous Zydeco Breakfast at Buck and Johnny's. Participants must show race bib for free entry to the breakfast. There will be a 1 Mile Fun Run.
Also, this year we are offering a Virtual Race option for those of you who want to support our race but may not want to run or want to run it on your own time and pace.
This year we will have a Most Spirited award for the best costume showing your Spirit. Also, we will honor our First Responders with their own 5K category and awards.
Team Registration:
We will be offering Team Registration. The team with the most registered members will win a prize. So go out and recruit your friends and family to start a team and get a $5 discount off all of your team's registrations. Team registration is for doing the 1 Mile or the 5K.
Registration Fees:
5K or 1 Mile: $30 fee includes a t-shirt, a Bloody Mary and entry to the Zydeco Breakfast
Team Registration (1M or 5K): $25 fee includes a t-shirt, a Bloody Mary and entry to the Zydeco Breakfast
5K & 1 Mile Virtual Race: $30 fee includes a t-shirt, a Bloody Mary and entry to the Zydeco Breakfast
Packet Pickup:
Friday, 9/11/26 from 12 pm - 7 pm at Buck and Johnny's in the Glassroom
100 Berard Street , Breaux, Bridge, LA
Saturday, 9/12/26 - Race Morning from 6 am - 7 am in the Park
Age Groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
Awards:
5K: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall Male & Female, 1st, 2nd, 3rd in the age groups
5K First Responders: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall Winners
5K Team with the most registered members gets an award
1 Mile: 1st, 2nd, 3rd Overall Winners
