Join United Counseling Service (UCS) for our 9th Annual UCS Superhero 5K and Kids' Dash on November 7, 2026!
Please join UCS as we mark the ninth year of this special event in downtown Bennington, VT! Our UCS Superhero 5K starts promptly at 9am from the Berkshire Family YMCA (BFYMCA), also known as the Bennington Recreation Center, at 655 Gage Street. The Kids' Dash is a short run around the fenced BFYMCA field adjacent to Gage Street led by officers from the Bennington Police Department. Registration for the Kids' Dash is free and will take place in-person on race day.
This year's UCS Superhero 5K and Kids' Dash benefits Chickens for Change, a program of UCS' Children, Youth and Family Services (CYFS) division that provides an opportunity for elementary through high school-age youth to raise, care for, and sell chickens and eggs in order to promote business, social, and life skills. The group meets once a week at the Martha Canfield Library in Arlington, VT.
