From the Organizer
Before the parade rolls through the heart of Auburn, the streets open to runners and walkers of all ages for a festive, community-centered race experience.
The Auburn Mile, presented by Auburn Running Company, begins in downtown Auburn and follows the full parade route, finishing back at the Downtown Square. It’s a true one-mile race, whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply showing up to be part of something new and alive.
As you move through the course, the town gathers around you and spectators line the streets. You’re not just running before the parade. You’re helping begin it.
And if you like to dress for the Fourth of July, this is your moment!
What to expect:
Come early. Run hard or run easy. Stay for the parade and the rest of the day.
