From the Organizer
Pierre’s Hole, once known for fur trade in the Northern Rockies, has always been a test of endurance, fortitude, and strength. For almost two decades, the Pierre’s Hole 50/100 has provided an incredible experience to everyone who has raced in this epic journey. The racecourse views are breathtaking, the singletrack is better than ever, and you will be tested by the rugged terrain that makes riding on the west side of the Teton Range so spectacular. The entire race is held at Grand Targhee Resort, where ample lodging and amenities await racers and their families.
Numerous classes in both 50k and 100k distances are available plus, we've got a brand new Friday night short track race for 2026! Sweet swag bag for all participants and cash prize for podium finishers.

About This Sport
Endurance Grid is here to help you understand the sport, decide if it's the right fit, and learn how to prepare. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer's event page.
Mountain biking takes place on singletrack and natural terrain where reading the trail matters as much as fitness — cornering, braking, and instinct on dirt are skills that only come from time in the saddle.
Events range from beginner-friendly cross-country races to technical enduros, and the trail community is one of the most welcoming in endurance sport.
XC races, enduros, and fat bike events across Midwest trails. Technical, physical, and completely different from anything on pavement.
