ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO THE RACE STARTING LINE, AND THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION OFF THE RACE COURSE IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO MAKE IT TO THE FINISH LINE... this event is in the middle of nowhere, Badlands USA... there is NO UBER or LYFT or taxis. About This Sport
Endurance Grid is here to help you understand the sport, decide if it's the right fit, and learn how to prepare. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer's event page.
Mountain biking takes place on singletrack and natural terrain where reading the trail matters as much as fitness — cornering, braking, and instinct on dirt are skills that only come from time in the saddle.
Events range from beginner-friendly cross-country races to technical enduros, and the trail community is one of the most welcoming in endurance sport.
XC races, enduros, and fat bike events across Midwest trails. Technical, physical, and completely different from anything on pavement.
