Common questions

What is Endurance Grid?+
Endurance Grid is a free, athlete-first guide to endurance sports across the United States. It helps you understand 16 sports — running, triathlon, cycling, swimming, and more — and find upcoming races near you, all in one place. It’s your on-ramp: find a sport that fits, then find the race that gets you to the start line.
Is Endurance Grid free to use?+
Yes. Browsing the sport guides and the race calendar is completely free. When you’re ready to sign up, we link you straight to the official registration page for each race.
How do I find an endurance race near me?+
Enter your city or ZIP code in the search at the top of the page and we’ll show upcoming races near you, sorted by how soon they are. You can also browse the full race calendar by sport, state, distance, or month.
I’m new to endurance sports — where should I start?+
Start with the sport guides. Each one breaks down what a sport actually involves and what race day is like, so you can pick the one that fits you — then jump to a calendar of upcoming races for it. The guides are written to be approachable for first-timers, with the jargon avoided or explained.
What sports and states does Endurance Grid cover?+
Sixteen endurance sports across all 50 states — running, trail running, ultramarathon, triathlon, duathlon, aquabike, swimrun, road cycling, gravel, mountain bike, swimming, paddle, HYROX, adventure racing, rucking, and obstacle course racing. New races are added every day.
