About the Event
Welcome to The Heritage Challenge, a timed endurance event designed for athletes of all levels.
Whether you are:
Taking on your first ultra-distance effort
Exploring trail or endurance running for the first time
Or looking to push your limits as a seasoned athlete
This race is built for you.
Choose between a 3-hour or 6-hour format and complete as many loops as possible within your selected time. There is no set distance requirement—just keep moving forward at your own pace.
Why The Heritage Challenge
Accessible to Everyone
The looped course format allows you to control your effort. Run, jog, or walk—every loop counts. Check out the link for the 2026 Heritage Challenge below! There will be parking and the start/finish line will be in the middle of the softball fields.
Support Along the Way
With a central course layout, access to aid, and a strong community presence, you will be supported throughout your race.

Course Format
Loop-based course (final distance to be announced)
Mixed terrain including park trails, grass, and paved paths
Minimal elevation, but continuous movement
Easy access to personal gear and aid throughout the event
Race Day Timeline
8:00 AM – Check-in opens
9:00 AM – 6-Hour Challenge Start
12:00 PM – 3-Hour Challenge Start
3:00 PM – Event concludes
Final loops must be started by 2:45 PM
