Did you know Black Americans have a higher likelihood of heart disease due to social determinants and lack of access to healthy food options and health care?
Did you know you can also take action in your own life by understanding these risk and making small changes in your life style?
Join us at Riverfront Park to help kick off our Juneteenth Festival with a healthy walk and a focus on improving our lives together as a community.
Hosted by BeRezillient and Manatawny Athletic, this community walk will consist of a 1k loop in Riverfront Park equaling exactly six tenth of one mile. Participants can do as many loops as they'd like between 10 & 11 AM and then can head to the days festival. All participants will receive a small gift for their support and effort.
Proceeds benefit BeRezillent's Juneteenth Festival and House of Talent in honor of Antione Johnson and those that are fighting every day.
