From the Organizer
Join us for our 4th Annual Pomona Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon! This event will take place on Sunday, June 14th at the lake in the front of the Pomona Subdivision, Manvel, Texas. Pomona is 8 minutes from our old location straight down Kingsley (Cnty Rd 48) or 288 to the Pomona exit. Since July has repeatedly been so hot, moving it to June should help with the help a little.
The Pomona Tri/Du offers a 500 meter lake swim followed by a 12.5 mile bike ride and a 3 mile run; duathlon athletes will do a half mile run vs the swim. The bike is now a one loop course followed by a run through the Pomona neighborhood ending at the Grove located at 4214 Croix Pkwy., right off Pomona Pkwy. Parking map for this event is located on the athlete email.

Endurance Grid is here to help you understand the sport, decide if it's the right fit, and learn how to prepare. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer's event page.
Three sports, one race — swim, bike, run in sequence, with transitions that are a discipline of their own.
Open water, open roads, and competition with yourself. Cross the finish line knowing what it took to get there.
Swim, bike, run — back to back. The sprint distance makes it far more accessible than most people think.
