From the Organizer
The Mile, presented by Pacesetter Sports, will be held on Saturday, July 4th at Indiana State University’s Memorial Stadium.
The Mile takes place on July 4th every year. The race starts 1 mile north of the Stadium, on Brown Blvd and finishes by the Stadium grounds. Proceeds from the event fund the Lace it Up Kids Running Program of the Wabash Valley Road Runners. REGISTER BY Sunday, JUNE 28 at 11:59PM TO RECEIVE A T-SHIRT!
Start Times:
1st heat: Females @ 8 a.m.
2nd heat: Males @ 8:30 a.m.
3rd heat: Walkers and Kids Running Program @ 9 a.m.
Awards will be given; including overall awards, age group awards, and walker awards. Awards are based on 5-year age groups. IF YOU ARE SIGNED UP AS A WALKER, PLEASE DO NOT RUN! We have competitive walkers who work hard to win the race and it wouldn’t be fair for a someone to run part of the race and beat out a competitive walker who walked the complete event.
