Exploring Mt. Telemark Mountain Bike Trails 9:00 – 11:30 am
What to expect: Please join us for a morning of exploring newer and/or even older mountain trails in the north woods around Telemark Village. Depending on size of group and experience of riders we can split into suitable groups (i.e., beginner, novice, advanced novice). We will choose routes to fit skill levels of riders with safety in mind. Expect 90 minutes to 2 hours of riding time. Telemark area has an amazing network of trails that our group leaders have ridden extensively. Leaders will carry limited bike tools and first aid kits.
What to bring: Mountain Bike in working condition, helmet, water bottles, sun and insect protection, bike tools/spare tire(optional), eye protection advised. Mountain Bike rentals may be available at bike shop located in the Hub. Call the New Moon Bike Shop to confirm: 715-634-8685.
Lunch at the Backroads Eatery in the Hub 11:30 – 12:30. Lunch is included in the signup fee of $25.
Disc Golf Instruction and Play on Telemark’s New Course 12:30 – 2:30 pm
Whether you are a golfer or not, this sport is something you should try. If you have played disc golf, you can help us mentor the newbies. This will be an amazing course with lots of terrain and interesting challenges. Come join us for an afternoon of fun. After lunch we will meet at 12:30 at the first hole near the gateway arch for the Telemark mountain bike trails (at the far end of the Hub building). Discs will be supplied or bring your own if you are a disc golf player. If you’re new to disc golf, you should know that there are thousands of courses nationwide so no matter where you live there’s a course near you and most are free to play.

From Endurance Grid
Endurance Grid is here to help you understand the sport, decide if it's the right fit, and learn how to prepare. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer's event page.
Mountain biking takes place on singletrack and natural terrain where reading the trail matters as much as fitness — cornering, braking, and instinct on dirt are skills that only come from time in the saddle.
Events range from beginner-friendly cross-country races to technical enduros, and the trail community is one of the most welcoming in endurance sport.
XC races, enduros, and fat bike events across U.S. trails. Technical, physical, and completely different from anything on pavement.
