From the Organizer
The Liberty Run 5K & Fun Run will take place on the morning of July 4, 2026, beginning at Governor Jim Hogg City Park in Quitman, Texas. This inaugural event is hosted by the Quitman Chamber of Commerce as a fundraiser to support local programs and initiatives that strengthen the community.
The event will feature a 5K and a non-timed Fun Run, offering an opportunity for participants of all ages and fitness levels to be part of the celebration. The course will guide runners through Quitman and return to the park, where participants can enjoy a morning of festivities following the race.
Join us as we celebrate Independence Day and America’s 250th birthday with a run, community spirit, and a great start to the holiday.
