The Lace Up 5K Run, Walk and Kids 100 Yard Dash is June 13th in beautiful Heritage Park in Homer Glen. The event will be a fun filled, family friendly race for competitive runners, recreational athletes and kids.
The course is two laps around the park on the walking paths with the start and finish line area on a stretch of of grass about .10 of a mile long.
We also offer a 100 Yard Dash for the kids (< 10 years old). Each kid running will get a shirt and a goodie bag too!
Participants will receive food from Joey's Red Hots Food Truck, Culvers Ice Cream, and other goodies. There will also be music by DJ Heavy E, numerous raffle prizes to local establishments (all participants bib numbers will be randomly drawn), and multiple vendor tents. Also, Big River Footwear is offering $15 off shoes and 20% off apparel to registered participants.
Sign up by June 1st to be guaranteed a Race Shirt.
All proceeds go to the Homer Glen Community in Harmony and Nature in Harmony Foundation, which is a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) organization whose purpose is to raise money for parks, open space, trails, etc. for the Homer Glen Community.
