From the Organizer
The Kids Running Camp is geared to children who are 7- to 13-year-olds, and focused on middle- and long-distance running. We develop efficient running form, endurance, speed, athletic ability, and a growth mindset.
Training takes place at Patriot High School at the back of the school by the tennis court. We use the Bermuda field, trails and hills to build better runners.
The camp takes place July 6th to July 10th. Practice times start at 10:00am and end at 1pm. Please bring a water bottle and a healthy snack. Kids should have proper running shoes.
We focus on speed training, endurance, strength work and running form. We will start outside from 10am - 11:30 am. Go inside for a 30 min break and talk about the importance of sleep, eating well, having a growth mindset, and being a good teammate. We finish outside with drills and games.
The camp is directed by Coach James DeMarco, the Patriot High School Track and Cross-Country Running Coach.
