This event is in celebration of the Juneteenth Anniversary and promotes freedom and inclusion in the world of running and healthy lifestyles!
This free, unsanctioned event is open to all.
We meet at the Shepard Branch Library located at 850 N Nelson Rd.
Participants may Walk and/or Run. Available distances are:
Black Men Run and Black Girls Run Columbus have teamed up with Fleet Feet Columbus and Saucony. There will be raffle prizes including free entries to the Columbus Marathon 5K & 1 Mile events, honoring the legacy of Jesse Owens. There will be Saucony shoe demos to try out on the trail.
Also, order your exclusive Juneteenth Unisex Vintage Triblend Tee for $25, or select "No Shirt" for free event registration. You can also purchase additional tees in the event store linked here! 100% of proceeds go towards future Juneteenth community walk/runs.
