Join us for a summer of running and reading! Kids from across the area are invited to take on the I RUN Kids Marathon — a fun challenge for both body and mind!
Participants will work through the summer to:
Run or walk 26.2 miles (in 1/4, 1/2 or 1-mile increments)
Read 26 books or for 26 hours (tracked by book or 1/4, 1/2 or 1-hour increments)
Each participant will receive a log sheet to track progress and weekly emails from coaching staff along the way. Complete the challenge and earn the title of marathoner for life -- plus receive I RUN Kids Marathon running swag!
Celebrate at the Final Mile – August 22
All in-person and virtual participants are invited to come together to run the Final Mile at Wisconsin Lutheran College’s Outdoor Athletic Complex in Wauwatosa.
The Final Mile celebration includes:
Group warmup and 1-mile race
Music
Food
Giveaways

Program Details
All I RUN Marathon Participants should be in good physical health and must have their own health and accident insurance.
