10K Run - $45
T-shirts and medal are guaranteed to the first 300 paid registrants. Size is not guaranteed to those registered after 6/19/26.
Packet Pick up:
Packet pick up will be on Friday, July 17th from 5 – 7 pm at the Gaylord Trailhead pavilion across from the Chamber of Commerce or pickup at the same location on race day starting at 7:30 a.m. (400 W. Main Street, Gaylord MI 49735).
Start Times:
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk - 8:00 a.m.
10K - 8:30 a.m.
5K Run/Walk - 8:45 a.m.
Race Information:
The course is out and back. The route is on the North Central State Trail, starting at the Gaylord Trailhead on Main Street.

Please note: the Alpenfest grand parade starts at noon and therefore Main Street will be blocked off until it concludes.
The starting line for the race will be on the trail next to the Gaylord Trailhead pavilion. There will be aid stations at the 5k and 10k turnarounds.
Times will be recorded and posted.

The 10K is the distance where running stops feeling like a starting point and starts feeling like a sport. Long enough to require a real training block. Short enough that race day is fully manageable for a first-timer who's put in the work.
Race day energy at a 10K is community at its best — strangers cheering you by name, people moving toward the same goal, an atmosphere that solo training can't replicate. It's fast enough that you'll spend the whole race pushing rather than managing your effort.

What you need: running shoes fitted to your stride, a training plan, and the race on your calendar. The registration is what makes the deadline real.
