The 10th Annual Dash for Diabetes 5k Run/Walk put on by Coplin Health Systems Diabetes Initiative will be on June 13th at 8:30 a.m. at Riverfront Park in Ravenswood, WV. The Dash for Diabetes route follows the 3.1 miles route along the Ohio River in Ravenswood, West Virginia. Again this year, Coplin will be teaming up with Ravenswood Recreation Youth Program to spread awareness for the nationwide epidemic of diabetes. Unbeknownst to most, one of the best ways to prevent diabetes is through exercise!
So, what better ways to raise awareness and teach prevention than through a 5K Run/Walk! Join us for a great morning and while supporting great causes.
RULES: This is an Thunderbolt Race Series race. All rules must be followed regarding walking. If you register to walk, you must walk – no running. If you want to run and walk, register to run. Walkers who run will be disqualified.
AWARDS: Overall & Group Awards will be given to runners & walkers.
