Come to Cave Spring and experience the charm that has made this town a destination for many people throughout the years. Run the 5K, or 1M fun run / walk, and then stick around afterwards to enjoy the 50th Annual for the Arts and Crafts Festival. Best of all...your Race T-shirt gets you into the Festival and the famous Cave Spring pool for FREE!! Proceeds benefit historical preservation and educational programs.
GROUP REGISTRATIONS ARE ENCOURAGED!!! Groups of 6 or more that register before 6/7/2026 receive personalized team trophies!
Also, race finishers will be offered free hot packs by Bartone Chiropractic.
Obtain a walk, ride, or drive Tour Guide from our nearby Visitor's Center Museum. This guide will introduce a community that has epochal connections to 1000’s of years of Native American, early settler, African American, and deaf cultural history. Tour includes largest Indian cabin; Fairview Rosenwald School museum project; 18th Century Georgia School for the Deaf buildings, train depot, Chubb Town, and 90 different structures on the National Register of Historic Places. Additionally, directions are included to the local trailheads of the Pinhoti Trail. In a town established in 1822, yet quite vibrant still today, you will feel like walking through time!
Finish out your weekend visiting the large limestone cave, partaking of the nationally-famous clean spring water and languishing in the spring-fed 1.5 acre swimming pool, Georgia’s largest! This year runners receive free pass to pool as well as festival . Remember to bring your swim suit!

Friday, June 12th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, you may pick up your Race Packet/T-shirt under the pavilion at Rolater Park in Cave Spring, near the large 'Hearn Academic Bldg.' Packets will also be available on race morning, Saturday, but it sure takes some stress off to get it early!!

Walkers receive a pendant. Special award for youngest & oldest finisher.
NEW 5K COURSE:
This USATF-certified course [GA24031WC] starts on Love Street near the downtown caboose and heads west toward Fannin St. It winds its way through the town's charming neighborhoods before turning left on Perry Farm Rd. It makes a large, clockwise loop around the campus of the Georgia School for the Deaf, then returns to town and meanders back through a quaint neighborhood before finishing in the middle of town square by the historic Vann Cherokee cabin. The course is mostly flat with a few rolling hills but this tour of Cave Spring on foot will not be soon forgotten!
