BADWATER: It’s a frame of mind, a global family of horizon-chasers, and a statement to the world about priorities and preconceived notions of what is possible. Badwater is a way of life! Are you ready for an epic virtual Badwater race?
AdventureCORPS® – the organizers of the iconic worldwide series of Badwater® races – are excited to host The World's Toughest Virtual Race, BADWATER 267 VR Elite! In this race, competitors will virtually and sequentially traverse the routes of all three Badwater® races – the 51-mile Badwater Cape Fear, the 81-mile Badwater Salton Sea, and the 135-mile Badwater 135 – for a total of 267 miles (430km.) These three events comprise the legendary Badwater Ultra Cup, and Badwater 267 VR Elite!
Certified finishers of this event - who complete 267 OUTDOOR miles over 16 days between April 25 and May 10 - AND log all their miles with a GPS on Strava - which will post to our RunSignUp page via a unique automated sync system - will receive commemorative items* AND a one-of-kind BADWATER 267 VR ELITE Belt Buckle, but they will have to earn it and prove they deserve it! There is a mandatory Strava club for all BADWATER 267 VR ELITE participants. See this event's webpage for all the requirements and other perks for the VR ELITE race.
* All participants will receive a BADWATER 267 VR Elite tech shirt, BADWATER buff, BADWATER sunglasses, and more. These items - along with the BADWATER 267 VR Elite Belt Buckle for Certified Finishers - will be shipped approximately 45 days after BADWATER 267 VR Elite concludes.
