Congratulations! You’re about to kick off Independence Day the best way possible—with a run that celebrates community, fitness, and freedom!

Start your holiday morning with an exciting 5K or 10K run or walk along a scenic Anaheim course, surrounded by runners, walkers, families, and plenty of patriotic energy. Whether you’re chasing a personal record, enjoying a relaxed walk with loved ones, or simply soaking in the festive atmosphere, this event is designed for participants of all ages and abilities.

Rock your red, white, and blue, bring your patriotic spirit, and get ready for a memorable morning of movement, celebration, and fun!

Let’s make this Independence Day one to remember—on your mark, get set, go!

 
Parking & Race Day Information
Parking will be available in the Canyon High School parking lot, as well as on nearby streets and in surrounding neighborhoods.

The race will begin promptly at 7:00 AM near Canyon High School. A brief opening ceremony will take place before the start, so participants are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for parking, warm-ups, visiting expo booths, and any pre-race needs.

🚻 Portable restrooms will be available on site. Please plan ahead, as lines tend to be busiest in the 10–15 minutes leading up to race start.

 
Race Timing & Course Guidelines

  • All runners will receive a timing chip attached to their bib
  • Your official time begins when you cross the start timing mat
  • Course markers will be placed along the route
  • Strollers and dogs are welcome
  • Clearly marked turnaround points will be provided for both 5K and 10K participants

Hydration & Finish Line Fun
Participants are welcome to bring their own hydration. Additional hydration stations and local expo booths will be available near the finish line for post-race refreshments and celebration.

  • Saturday, June 27 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at A Snail's Pace (1040 E Imperial Hwy # F2, Brea, CA 92821)
  • Tuesday, June 30 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brewery X (3191 E La Palma Ave, Anaheim, CA 92806)
  • Friday, July 3 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at A Snail's Pace (1040 E Imperial Hwy # F2, Brea, CA 92821)
