Come join us the morning of July 4th to kick off your Independence Day festivities with a fun 5K or 10K and Free Kiddie Run. This run/walk is open to all abilities, from the very competitive to the hobby jogger to the walker. Proceeds from the event support the YMCA Partner of Youth Financial Scholarship program.
Packet pickup/on-site registration is July 3 from NOON to 7:00 PM at See Dick Run. Limited packet pickup race morning from 6:30 to 7:45 at See Dick Run.
5K/10K races start at 8:00 AM.
Kiddie Run:
A fun run designed for our youngest participants! Younger children will enjoy a short run in the grass, while older kids will take on a ¼-mile or ½-mile run along a portion of the official race route. A great way for kids to experience the excitement of race day!

The 10K is the distance where running stops feeling like a starting point and starts feeling like a sport. Long enough to require a real training block. Short enough that race day is fully manageable for a first-timer who's put in the work.
Race day energy at a 10K is community at its best — strangers cheering you by name, people moving toward the same goal, an atmosphere that solo training can't replicate. It's fast enough that you'll spend the whole race pushing rather than managing your effort.

What you need: running shoes fitted to your stride, a training plan, and the race on your calendar. The registration is what makes the deadline real.
