Fitness is important at every age. Join NDSU Aging in Community for a 5K in beautiful New Salem ND. Bring your family and friends to experience the enchanting downtown area of New Salem with race sign in at the historic Metropolitan Hotel. The route will follow 8th street delivering participants to highway 10 where Salem Sue, World's Largest Holstein Cow, quietly watching over the community. The race will end with a festival type street fair on New Salem's friendly Main Street. The goal of the event is to raise awareness for the work that Aging in Community does to improve quality of life for older adults living in rural North Dakota. Proceeds raised will benefit the local community food pantry, New Salem Hunger Relief. Join us for a fun day of health and wellness in beautiful New Salem North Dakota.
