Join us for a fun-filled day of swimming, biking and running in the 13th year of the Sherando Youth Triathlon!
This triathlon will challenge your child in their age group with a swim, bike ride in Sherando Park, and a run utilizing a portion of the Sherando High School Track. Pre-Race Day Check-In and Bike Inspection will be on Saturday, August 1 at the Sherando Park Rotary Shelter (across from the Sherando Pool) between 5-7 p.m.
If you are not able to attend the bike inspection on 8/1, you can visit Element Sports or Blue Ridge Bicycles. Please email for the bicycle inspection form.
Age and Distance:
7-8 (25-meter swim, 1-mile bike, .5-mile run)
9-10 (75-meter swim, 3-mile bike, 1-mile run)
11-12 (125-meter swim, 3-mile bike, 1-mile run)
13-15 (125-meter swim, 3-mile bike, 1-mile run)
Awards: Top three male and female in each age group. All participants will receive a finisher medal.
T-shirts are not guaranteed to participants who register after July 5th. Once the deadline passes, T-shirts will be first come, first serve while quantities/sizes last.
