Tarpon Triathlon

 

Event Details:

We will have food, drinks, & music following the race.  There is a park for the kids to play in &  shaded areas to take advantage of for cooling off post race!

 

Early Pick Up:
       

Early Packet Pick up will be on Friday, July 31, 2026 - 5:00 pm-7:00 pm

Race Day Packet Pick Up:   8/01/2026 
 
Race day packet pick up will be from 5:45 - 7:10 AM

If you find that you ordered the wrong shirt size, we cannot change the shirt size during packet pick up. You can check with us after the race on race day to see if there are any sizes available which would better fit you.        

 

Registration Fees:

Early registration is now through 7/8;   Individual participant: $50,  Relays: $100
Late registration 7/9 - 7/28;                   Individual participant: $60,  Relays: $120
Last minute registration 7/29 -  8/1;      Individual participant: $80,  Relays: $160

 

Race Day Activities:

5:45 -7:10 am:  

• Race day sign in & packet pick-up

• Body Marking

• Timing chip pick-up

 

6:30 am:

We will try to open the pool for warm-ups around this time (pending arrival of the lifeguards)

 

7:15 am:

Transition area closes
Line up on the pool deck in numerical order.

7:20 am:

Pre-race meeting on the pool deck

 

7:30 am:

Race start time

 

Awards usually begin around 9:30 - 9:45 am
 

Overall Male & Female winner
1st - 3rd Male & Female in age groups - 14&U, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+
1st - 3rd adult relay (average age of relay team is 18 or over)
1st - 3rd youth relay (average age of relay team is 17 & under)

 

Local Accommodations:
If you are wanting to book a hotel for your visit, anything on Martin Luther King Blvd. would be a 10-15 minute drive to the race site & all of them are well kept to my knowledge. They are also scattered among many restaurant & shopping option. The Courtyard by Marriott & the Howard Johnson are not along MLK, but are a 5-10 minute drive to the race site.
