Frequently Asked Questions
YMCA community health programs:
The YMCA mission and focus is to improve the health and well-being of those in our community. Our health intervention and education programs serve individuals with cancer, prediabetes, high blood pressure, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer's, arthritis and childhood obesity. You can support participants striving to improve health and well-being by making a donation to one or more of our programs.
Catholic Harvest Food Pantry:
Please bring a non-perishable food donation or check donation to packet pick-up. The community based Food Pantry serves at least 750 families each month, providing food, infant and hygiene supplies to those in need. Although formed as a collaboration of the local Catholic Churches, the Food Pantry serves any individual or family in need, and not those only affiliated with the Catholic church. Your generous donation helps the Pantry reach more York community members. Checks payable to: The Catholic Harvest Food Pantry. Learn more here.
