Bryn Mawr Running Company presents the 17th Annual Midsummer 5k Race Series.
The 5k race will take place in the quiet and safe neighborhood surrounding South Ardmore Park, Wynnewood Pa on the second Thursday evening of each Summer month. The course will consist of 3 circuits on a slightly rolling course called the “Ardmore Loop.” Awards will be provided for in each race for overall runners and age groups winners by the Bryn Mawr Running/Racing Company and Brooks. There will also be scoring for those who complete all three races. Runners will accumulate points in overall male/female categories along with their age group categories. Awards for the 3 combined races will be provided by one of our sponsors.
The event will be again be chip timed by the Bryn Mawr Racing Co. Brooks Podium Technical Midsummer Series T-shirts will be distributed at the JULY race or during race packet pickup the night before.
REGISTRATION IS DISCOUNTED WHEN YOU CHOOSE ALL 3 EVENTS.
After each race there will be an after party, at our new location McSorley's Ardmore, 2330 Haverford Rd, Ardmore, PA 19003. Bring in your race bib for one complimentary beverage on us!
Please bring the whole family! A very popular kids race in South Ardmore Park will precede the 5K!
Race proceeds will benefit Children’s and Shriner's Hospitals of Philadelphia, Lower Merion Parks and Recreation and the Bryn Mawr Running Club will also be beneficiaries. Since 2010, we have raised over $65,000 for these charities!!
Please be aware that summer evening races are at the mercy of pop up thunderstorms. We will run rain or shine, if lightning, we'll hold off until it clears. If it's an ongoing storm, we'll postpone. There are NO REFUNDS. however you can purchase race insurance when registering.

PPU will open at 6 pm on site at each race.
