You must check in before the race. Check in starts at 7:30 am and ends at 8:45 am. Check in will be located on the courthouse lawn, near the corner of 10th St and Franklin St (Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/UyyXRDGW7ix8fGSq7). If you pre-ordered a shirt, you can pick it up here.

Race Start

Race announcements will take place at ~8:50 am around the check-in area at the Courthouse lawn. From there, we will move to the race start across the street.

Race will start at 9 am on Franklin St at the Grand Prix sign on the southbound lane.

Make your first right hand turn onto Old Corning Rd (and enjoy the climb!) and stick to the side of the road.

Follow orange cones placed on the side of the road.

Race Details

You will be running with the flow of traffic for the first 5.6 miles.

A reminder that traffic will not be stopped during the race, and you must follow all traffic signals, paying special attention at Franklin St and NY-14 - stopping and waiting may be necessary. Failure to do so will result in disqualification and potentially injury or death.

There will be an aid station at approximately 2.9 miles, once you’ve turned onto Whites Hollow Rd. There will be water, Gatorade electrolyte drink, and some bananas.

You will need to cross the road at about mile 5.6 - again, exercise caution and cross when it is safe to do so.

Finish line is at the Lucky Hare Brewing Bar & Grill Marina Location at the end of North Decatur St (Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/bLkoyZxM3SdfiAbN9)

There will be volunteers along the course - they are there to help ensure your safety but cannot stop traffic - please exercise caution when crossing roads.

Post Race

At the finish line, you’ll be given a free drink token for use at the Lucky Hare Marina location, good for Saturday.

Everyone finishing the race will get a finishers award, with additional awards going to age groups and overall winners.

We’ll have additional snacks, fruit, water, and more available for you post race. If you purchased the ticket with brunch, you'll have access to that at the finish line area.

Raffle drawing will take place at 11 am - make sure you stick around if you finish fast, there are great prizes we’ll be giving away, but you have to be there to win! By registering and running the race, you’re automatically entered.

About This Sport

From Endurance Grid's Founder

Endurance Grid is here to help you understand the sport, decide if it's the right fit, and learn how to prepare. For course distances, logistics, and race-day specifics, always defer to the race organizer's event page.

The 10K is the distance where running stops feeling like a starting point and starts feeling like a sport. Long enough to require a real training block. Short enough that race day is fully manageable for a first-timer who's put in the work.

Race day energy at a 10K is community at its best — strangers cheering you by name, people moving toward the same goal, an atmosphere that solo training can't replicate. It's fast enough that you'll spend the whole race pushing rather than managing your effort.

This is also the distance that builds the base for everything else. Most athletes who go on to run half marathons, do triathlons, or compete in HYROX started here. What you need: running shoes fitted to your stride, a training plan, and the race on your calendar. The registration is what makes the deadline real.

How long to train: 4–8 weeks for most fitness levels.

Running

From 5K to marathon, running races are the most accessible entry point into endurance sport. There's a distance for every fitness level and a community at every start line.
